Music Venues in Leeds

Here at Singing Lessons Leeds, we’re always looking for new places to go and see live music.

Fortunately for anyone learning how to sing in Leeds, the city has a great selection of big and small venues, which means that it can host almost any type of band. For you're perusal, we've put together a lost of venues which we think are worth taking a closer look at.

The Brudenell Social Club

The Brudenell Social Club is a historic venue founded in 1913 as a social club for cabaret and bingo. As time has moved on, Brudenell has adapted to Leeds’ vibrant music scene and is a firm favourite for indie bands originating from the north. It is situated in Hyde Park, a large student area, so bands can expect a rowdy reception when they play. Brudenell is the favourite venue of The Cribs. The northern-rockers started out their career playing Brudenell and have returned many times since, holding a charity Christmas event called ‘Cribsmas’ there. Other notable bands that have rocked its stage are Franz Ferdinand, local boys Kaiser Chiefs and the interestingly named iLiKETRAiNS. If you want to have a closer look, why not head down to 33 Queen's Road, Leeds LS6 1NY.
